Sonny's Brass and Lucinda Tekoa Star were the beginning of SNK Setters and our love for the English Setter breed. As pupplies, they were destined to become winners and to be in our hearts. Sonny was the steady backbone and Lucy the energetic princess. They each became champions in the field and beloved family at home. We enjoyed 13 unforgettable years with Sonny and 11 amazing years with Lucy.

In the summer of 2009, we lost Sonny to old age. Two months later Lucy was taken by cancer. Because they always gave 150 percent of their hunting ability and their zest for life to always please, we will always be blessed to have had them in our lives. They leave behind not only their walls of awards and trophies, but a legacy of current and future champions with big hearts and the will to please. They have left us with future generations, each with a piece of Sonny's soul and Lucy's heart. Though they are greatly missed, they will always remain in our hearts as "BEST FRIENDS FOREVER."
